When it comes to providing quality education for children, the number of schools and the conditions of infrastructure cannot never be enough. Today, more than 80% of the public education is carried in facilities with insufficient infrastructure, lacking access to:
potable water
public water services
drainage and sanitary system
and electricity
On these regards, in 2015 we improved the facilities at the school Colegio Estrella de la Mañana located in Rosarito, Baja California Mexico:
painted 13 classrooms of 6 x 6m2
waterproofed the 300m2 roof
built 7 new classrooms of 8 x 6m2
and built 2 bathrooms
This support enabled the schools to create more opportunities for more children:
In that school year, 40 new students were enrolled (+25% vs. previous period).
