Notre histoire
En 2012, j'ai lancé ce projet de cœur avec l'intention de redonner à la société, en gratitude pour toutes les opportunités qui m'ont été offertes. Aujourd'hui, grâce à nos généreux soutiens, plus de 600 enfants mexicains et leurs familles bénéficient d'une éducation, de l'accompagnement d'experts et d'une aide financière pour poursuivre leurs rêves.
J'ai été élevé par un parent seul et notre vie a été assez difficile. Ma mère, une femme travailleuse et honorable, a consacré tous ses efforts à élever mon frère et moi, en nous offrant les meilleures opportunités possibles. Néanmoins, nous vivions au jour le jour, avec de nombreuses difficultés financières.
Malgré ces défis, j'ai obtenu mon diplôme universitaire en 2005 et j'ai émigré du Mexique pour travailler à l'étranger. À partir de ce moment-là, de nombreuses opportunités m'ont été offertes, probablement grâce à l'excellente éducation que j'avais reçue. Cette chance m'a conduit à penser aux millions d'enfants mexicains dont le destin est déjà scellé par l'environnement socio-économique dans lequel ils sont nés, et qui, contrairement à moi, n'auront jamais la possibilité d'un avenir meilleur sans notre aide.
Cette prise de conscience m’a motivé à co-fonder un orphelinat dans le nord du Mexique en 2006. À cette époque, j'ai également vécu au sein de l'orphelinat afin de soutenir 20 jeunes filles dans leur parcours éducatif. L'engagement des fondateurs de ce projet ainsi que les histoires de ces jeunes filles ont eu un impact profond sur moi.
À ce moment-là, j'ai décidé que, quel que soit le chemin que prendrait ma vie à l'avenir, je consacrerais toujours une partie de mon temps et de mes ressources au soutien des communautés vulnérables.
Au fil du chemin, j'ai rencontré des cœurs partageant les mêmes valeurs, et finalement, en 2012, un rêve porteur de changement a vu le jour avec la création de Together For Children a.s.b.l. au Luxembourg. Notre équipe s'est agrandie et compte aujourd'hui plus de 12 bénévoles engagés à offrir de nouveaux départs aux enfants et aux femmes en détresse.

Lluvia Escalona
Lluvia Escalona is an entrepreneurial and passionate woman with experience in diverse areas including social development, family well-being, and real estate.
In 2012, Lluvia and her husband founded Together For Children a.s.b.l. with the mission of supporting the education of vulnerable communities in Mexico and the world, focusing primarily on children and women.
Two of Lluvia's greatest passions are education and childhood. She herself, is a testament to the fact that through access to quality education, individuals can achieve a dignified life and create lasting impact for future generations.
Lluvia was born and educated in Mexico and has lived in Luxembourg since 2012, where she is the mother of four wonderful children.

Christian Frantz
Christian Frantz is a medical doctor based in Luxembourg. From an early age, he has been driven by a deep commitment to serving others, which led him to pursue a career in medicine. Over the years, he has developed strong expertise not only in pulmonology, his primary field of specialization, but also in leadership and project management.
Christian is a founding member of Together For Children a.s.b.l. and, since 2023, has also served as a member of the Administrative Board of Fondation Cancer.
In 2006, he met his wife, Lluvia Escalona, while she was living and teaching at the Casa Hogar Estrella orphanage in Rosarito, Mexico. This experience profoundly impacted him, inspiring his dedication to creating a transformative project with a lasting impact on children's lives. Since then, he has been actively working to turn this vision into reality.
Stéphanie Neuen
Stéphanie Neuen works as a judge in Luxembourg. From her young adulthood on, she has volunteered in different ways in support of causes related to promoting international understanding and supporting vulnerable populations.
Stéphanie was a volunteer for the international exchange program AFS and a member of the board of directors of Fir Ons Kanner asbl, followed by the Fondation Crèche de Luxembourg.
Recently, the joyful dynamism and impressive dedication of Lluvia Escalona convinced her to join the cause of bringing about concrete positive change in the lives of underprivileged women and children in Mexico.

Samuel Pelan
Samuel Pelan is an experienced professional in Project Management, Change Management, and Finance. He has a deep passion for driving positive change and making a meaningful impact. After moving to Luxembourg in 2023, he quickly sought out opportunities to contribute to charitable initiatives.
Upon meeting Lluvia Escalona, Samuel was deeply inspired by the stories of children and women in Mexico and the remarkable progress in their health and education thanks to our association’s decade-long efforts.
Since then, Samuel has been an invaluable part of our team, sharing his expertise in strategic planning and financial management to help us grow.

Tamanaco Quijada
Tamanaco Quijada is a person with a background in audiovisual production and a passion for community-driven education and technology.
His journey began in Mérida, Venezuela, where he helped design a prototype website for the Escuela Técnica Agropecuaria Señor de la Buena Esperanza after spending time on-site with students. He later joined the Fundación para el Desarrollo de la Ciencia y la Tecnología, where he maintained an educational platform—part of the Casa de los Saberes FUNDACITE-Mérida program—offering weekly science and tech activities for young learners. He also served as general producer for the 7th and 8th editions of SIGNO, an international graphic design conference featuring workshops and talks for professionals and enthusiasts alike.
Now back in Luxembourg, Tamanaco works at CIGL-Bettembourg a.s.b.l. and has participated in programs like Proyecto AVE a.s.b.l.
His involvement at Together For Children a.s.b.l. began with a simple favor—helping set up a carnival stand—and quickly grew into a central role within the organization, contributing across many fronts to support its development.
